FUKASHERE is located in Kashere, a town in Gombe State in Northeastern Nigeria.
It has no religious affiliations, and students from across the country are welcome to apply. FUKAHSERE offers courses in the following discipline; Education, Science, Agriculture and Social Sciences.

Admission Requirements for Sociology
WAEC/NECO Subject Combination
The WAEC/NECO subject combination and requirements needed to study Sociology is Five (5) SSC credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, History/Government/Economics, one Science subject and any Arts or Social Science subject.
JAMB Subject Combination
In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course.
Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Sociology under the Faculty of Arts & Humanities at FUKASHERE include;
Government/ History plus two (2) other Social Sciences/Arts subjects.
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfil to gain Direct Entry admission to study Sociology if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;
Two ‘A’ level passes in Economics and any one of Statistics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geography, Physics, Accounting, Agric Science, Business Management, History and Government.
JAMB Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted into FUKASHERE for the 2024/2025 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored a minimum of 180 and above in your JAMB result.
