FULOKOJA Department of French Admission Requirement 2024/2025

This article is designed to help students who wish to study French under the Faculty of Arts & Humanities at Federal University, Lokoja.


It is very important for all candidates who wish to apply for any of the courses offered in FULOKOJA to carefully confirm and see if the course they Selected is offered in the institution before registering for JAMB.


The Federal University, Lokoja, popularly known as FULOKOJA, is a federal university in the confluence city of Lokoja, the capital of Kogi State, North-Central Nigeria. Lokoja lies at the confluence of the Niger and Benue rivers.

The Federal University, Lokoja, was established in February 2011 by the Federal Government of Nigeria as a result of the indispensable need to create more universities in the country.

O’Level Subject Combination

The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study French.

You require five (5) SSCE credit passes, including French and English Language, plus one (1) other Arts subject.

JAMB Subject Combination

In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course.

Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study French under the Faculty of Arts & Humanities in the above University include French and any other two (2) subjects from Arts and Social Sciences.

Direct Entry Requirement

These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study French if you don’t intend to use UTME.

You require two (2) ‘A’ level passes, including French and one (1) other Arts subject.

JAMB Score

All candidates interested in getting admitted into FULOKOJA for the 2024/2025 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have a minimum score of  180 and above in your JAMB result.
