The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.
Entry Requirements
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Geology include Five (5) SSCE credit passes in the following subjects:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Geography and any other two (2) Science subjects.
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB
- English Language
- Geography and any two (2) of Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Agricultural Science

These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Geography if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;
- Two (2) ‘A’ levels pass in Geography and any one (1) science subject.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
- FUTMINNA accepts Geography and Mathematics/Physics Physics is preferred.
- FUTMINNA accepts NCE merit, ND/HND upper or lower credit Meteorology.
JAMB Score
