This is to inform the general public and all Federal University of Technology Minna (FUTMINNA) aspirants that the Department of Mechatronics Engineering admission requirements has been published.

The sections below cover the five O’Level credit passes, the four subjects sat in JAMB UTME, the A Level route into Direct Entry, and the JAMB score needed to be eligible for screening into Mechatronics Engineering.
Mechatronics combines mechanical and electronic engineering, and the entry conditions follow the standard engineering pattern. Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry are required alongside English Language at both stages.
Only the fifth O’Level credit is open, and it still has to be a science subject. There is no flexibility anywhere in the UTME combination, which names all four subjects outright.

There is nothing unusual in this requirement, which makes it easy to check. Five O’Level credits covering Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English Language and one further science subject is the whole school certificate condition.
The UTME combination repeats the same four named subjects, so a candidate who meets the O’Level condition will almost always have a valid registration without having to make a choice.
Direct Entry needs A Level passes in any two of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, which gives three workable pairings. UTME candidates need a JAMB score of at least 180 to be eligible for screening at Minna.
