FUTO Post UTME/DE Screening Form 2024/2025

The Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) invites applications from candidates possessing suitable qualifications for enrolment into its undergraduate programs for the 2024/2025 academic calendar.

Application Guidelines

The application window for the post-UTME screening exercise at FUTO officially opens on 1 September 2025 and will conclude on 30 September 2025.

FUTO Admission Requirements

Post-UTME Aspirants: Candidates seeking admission through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) must have attained a minimum score of 160.

Direct Entry Applicants: Those applying for Direct Entry must be in possession of an OND, HND, First Degree, or an A’ Level qualification in a discipline and subjects germane to their chosen field of study.

Non-First Choice Candidates: Candidates who initially did not select FUTO as their institution of first choice but have scored a minimum of 160 in their UTME can also apply. However, they must first amend their choice of institution via the JAMB website: Change of Institution.

How To Apply

Eligible candidates would be required to pay a processing fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00).

To register, follow the steps outlined below:

• Visit the University website.
• Click on “Prospective students.”
• Under “Undergraduate,” Click on the link; “2024/2025 POST-UTME/Direct Entry Application.”
• Click on “Apply Here”
• Enter your JAMB Registration Number.
• Generate and Print your invoice and proceed to any bank to pay using your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number on the invoice.
• Alternatively, you can make a payment using your ATM card.
• After successful payment in the bank, return to the portal.
• Proceed with the completion of the form.
• Correctly enter your O’Level results.
• Confirm your entries.
• Submit your application.
• Print out your acknowledgment slip.
• Await further communication from the University.

Candidates who successfully complete the above-stated registration process will be allowed access to a link to upload their O’Level credentials for screening.
