Every admission cycle, candidates who sat the Igbajo Polytechnic post-UTME screening exercise log on to the same portal within days of each other, hoping to see their score. Igbajo Polytechnic has now made these scores available online.
A post-UTME score on its own does not guarantee admission, but it is one half of the aggregate score that most departments use when they shortlist candidates for the final list.
The steps below cover everything you need: what to have ready before you log in, how to navigate the Igbajo Polytechnic result portal, and what your next move should be once you see your score.
Candidates who took part in the post-UTME screening exercise of the Igbajo Polytechnic for the 2026/2027 academic session can now check their results now.

If the Portal Will Not Load
Result portals in Nigeria tend to experience heavy traffic in the hours right after a release, so if a page times out, it is often congestion rather than a fault on your end.
Try again after a short while, preferably outside peak hours such as early morning or late evening, and clear your browser cache if the page keeps showing an old error.
If the problem persists for more than a day or two, it is worth reaching out to the school’s admissions office directly rather than continuing to refresh the page.
Getting Ready Before You Log In
Before you even open the portal, have your JAMB registration number, email address, and phone number on hand, since most systems ask for at least one of these to confirm your identity.
It helps to do this on a laptop or desktop where possible, since larger screens make it easier to read result pages that are not always optimised for mobile devices.
If you no longer remember the login details you used during registration, check the confirmation email or SMS you received when you first applied.
Staying Safe Online
Unfortunately, admission season also attracts scammers who claim they can guarantee you a result or a place for a fee.
No legitimate Nigerian institution asks for payment from a third party in exchange for a result or an admission slot, so treat any such message as a red flag.
Always use the school’s official portal link rather than a link forwarded to you on social media or through a messaging app.
What’s Next for You
Checking your Igbajo Polytechnic post-UTME result is only the first step. Once you have your score, compare it against the department cut-off and keep an eye on the admission list, since the two are usually released close together.
Keep checking this page and the school’s official channels for updates, and never pay anyone outside the official portal for help with your result or your admission.
