How to Calculate IMSU Aggregate Score 2024/2025

Many Students find it hard to calculate their aggregate score and cut-off mark as this varies for different Institutions.

Still, before this, we are going to tell you what aggregate and Post UTME Score means and what things are to be considered before calculating the aggregate score.

IMSU Aggregate Score

The Imo State University (IMSU) in Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria, was established in 1981 through Law No. 4 passed by the Imo State House of AssemblyThe university admitted the first intake of 392 pioneer students on 23 October 1981.

After the creation of Abia State in 1991, the Uturu campus of the university became the Abia State University.

Imo State University is a fully functional university. Most of the programmes of the university have obtained full accreditation from the National Universities Commission of Nigeria.

How to Calculate IMSU Aggregate Score 

To correctly calculate your aggregate, know that the JAMB Examination is made up of 400 marks, whereas the IMSU Post UTME is made 100 marks.

  1. Divide your JAMB score by 8,
  2. Divide your Post UTME score by  2,
  3. Add up the result.

If Treasure scored 240 in her JAMB and 80 in her Post UTME, then her Aggregate score can be gotten by following these steps.

240/8= 30

80/2= 40

40+ 30= 70

Treasure’s aggregate score is 70.
