The Imo State University (IMSU) has not published a verified school fees schedule for the 2026/2027 academic session. Newly admitted and returning students should confirm the current figure for their faculty through the IMSU bursary or admissions office before paying anything.
How Much Is IMSU School Fees?
Different aggregator sites quote different figures for IMSU, and they don’t agree with each other: some put indigene tuition around ₦29,500, others show faculty-based ranges of ₦75,000 to ₦105,000 for indigenes and ₦150,000 to ₦190,000 for non-indigenes. Neither version could be verified against an official IMSU circular, so we’re not going to present either as confirmed.
What’s consistent across sources is the general shape of IMSU’s fee structure: non-indigenes pay roughly double what indigenes pay, and Medicine, Law and Engineering are billed above the Social Science, Education and Humanities rate. For the exact 2026/2027 figure, check the admissions office at admissions@imsu.edu.ng or the IMSU portal directly, since the numbers circulating online shouldn’t be trusted at face value.
