The management of the Igbinedion University Okada (IUO) has announced the deadline for payment of school fees and registration for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

Newly admitted and returning students are advised to pay up all the fees required by the school before the deadline.

The Igbinedion University Okada (IUO) has announced the deadline for payment of fees. The deadline for fees is March 2026.

If you pay your school fees after the deadline, it is not considered valid, and you may go through a lot of filing processes to get your money.

The penalty for defaulting is a loss of studentship for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

Also, note that the lost session shall form part of the total duration allowed for the Programme.

However, a student who has a genuine reason(s) to apply for Temporary Withdrawal from Studies for the session must follow the due process before the end of the First Semester of the session.

NOTE:

1. All fees are paid through e-tranzact platform at Access Bank, Zenith Bank, First bank, or Keystone bank
2. Direct Entry (DE) Students are to continue paying the same fee as and when admitted

NOTE: 

1. Additional Fees is not the same as Other Charges. They are ADDITIONAL FEES
2. Fees paid are not refundable or transferable after payment
3. Access Bank Hostel is for female students who are in 200 Level and above
4. Forging of e-tranzact slip attracts a fine of N50,000

FEE PAYMENT PROCEDURE

1. Login to the portal at https://iuokada.waeup.org/login (parents should ask their wards for the login credentials)
2. Select “Payments” from “My Data” menu
3. Click on the “Add current session payment” button to make a payment for the current session.
4. Select the item you want to pay for from the “Payment Category” dropdown.
5. Click on Create a payment
6. You see your payments page with the item you just created.
7. Click on the “payment_id” of the payment item you just created.
8. There are two ways to pay for the next section. You can either pay with:
   1. Interswitch: Click on the “Pay via Interswitch” button to pay with your ATM card.
   2. Etranzact: Click on the “Pay via Etransact Webconnect” button to pay with your ATM card.

How Much is Igbinedion University Okada Acceptance Fee?

The Igbinedion University Okada (IUO) acceptance fee for medical students is ₦75,000.00, while other students are to pay ₦60,000.00.

New intakes must pay their acceptance fees to be considered students.

How Much is Igbinedion University Okada Hostel Fee?

Students who want to stay in the hostel accommodations that are made available by the school authorities would have to apply before time.

Igbinedion University Okada hostel fees accommodation fee is (₦175,000) one hundred and seventy-five thousand Naira only for an academic session.

Why Additional Fees and Other Charges Are Separate at Igbinedion

The university states it plainly, and it catches people out. The N110,000 listed as Other Charges inside each course total is a different thing from the Additional Fees table, which stacks on top of whatever your programme already costs.

Those additional lines reach most students. Registration, development, book deposit and the Parents Consultative Forum apply to everyone, the municipal fee rises from N30,000 at 100 level to N40,000 above it, and science students add a N15,000 bench fee.

Medicine deserves its own warning. The N895,000 total covers 100 level Basic Medical Science only; once you qualify for Medicine at 200 level the consolidated figure jumps to N3,000,000, with a further N100,000 clinical fee from 400 level.
