KASU Department of Geophysics Admission Requirement 2024/2025

This article is designed to help students who wish to study Geophysics under the Faculty of Sciences at Kaduna State University.

It is very important for all candidates who wish to apply for any of the courses offered in KASU  to carefully confirm and see if the course they Selected is offered in the institution before registering for JAMB.

The Kaduna State University was established under the Kaduna State Law Number 3 promulgated on 21st May 2004. The promulgation was a consequence of the obvious and felt need to boost higher education in the State and the country in general.

O’Level Subject Combination

The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Geophysics; You require;

Five (5) SSC credit passes, including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry/Biology.

JAMB Subject Combination

In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Geophysics under the Faculty of Sciences in the above Universities include;

Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics.

Direct Entry Require

These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Geophysics if you don’t intend to use UTME.

You require; ‘A’ level passes in Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics

Jamb Score

All candidates interested in getting admitted into KASU for the 2024/2025 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have a score of a minimum of  180 and above in your JAMB result.
