KASU Department of Theatre Arts Admission Requirement

KASU Part-Time Degree Admission List

It is very important for all candidates who wish to apply for any of the courses offered at KASU to carefully confirm and see if the course they selected is offered in the institution before registering for JAMB.

About KASU

The Kaduna State University (KASU) is located in Kaduna State,Nigeria.

It was established in 2004 as part of a motivated effort on the part of the Federal government to satisfy to create more universities to meet the educational needs of the nation.

Admission Requirements for Theatre Arts  

WAEC/NECO Subject Combination

The WAEC/NECO subject combination and requirements needed to study Theatre Arts is Five (5) SSCE credits in English Language and Arts subjects.

JAMB Subject Combination

In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course.

Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Theatre Arts at KASU include Literature in English and two (2) other relevant subjects.

Direct Entry Requirement

These are the conditions you need to fulfil to gain Direct Entry admission to study Theatre Arts if you do not intend to use UTME.

You require two (2) ‘A’ Level/NCE passes in Arts, Social Sciences, or Science subjects.

JAMB Score

All candidates interested in getting admitted into KASU for the 2024/2025 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored a minimum of 180 and above in your JAMB result.

Conclusion

The university has a very competitive admissions process and does not consider a student’s age, cultural background, or religion when deciding whether to admit them. Thus, a diverse student body is made possible.
