Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) has published resumption dates for the Harmattan semester of the 2026/2027 session, but the full academic calendar covering continuous assessment, examinations and the Rain semester has not been independently confirmed on the university’s own site yet.
LAUTECH 2026/2027 Academic Calendar: What’s Confirmed
Fresh students resume Monday, 27th July 2026, with returning students resuming later, on Sunday, 25th October 2026. Lectures for both groups begin Friday, 30th October 2026, once registration for both groups is complete. These dates are already published and verified on our LAUTECH resumption date page.
Several Nigerian education news sites have also reported a separate set of dates for the Harmattan semester, including a fresher resumption in early October and lectures starting around mid-October, with Harmattan exams running into late January and the Rain semester opening in late February. We haven’t been able to verify those specific dates against LAUTECH’s own academic calendar page, so we’re not publishing them here as fact. If you’ve seen that version circulating, confirm it against the registrar’s office or LAUTECH’s official calendar page before relying on it.

We’ll fold the Rain semester dates into this page as soon as LAUTECH’s Senate approves and publishes them.
