NDA Department of French Admission Requirement 2024/2025

This article is designed to help students who wish to study French under the Faculty of Arts & Humanities at Nigeria Defence Academy.

It is very important for all candidates who wish to apply for any of the courses offered in NDA  to carefully confirm and see if the course they Selected is offered in the institution before registering for JAMB.

The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) Kaduna is one of the first of two Military Universities in Nigeria. Nigerian Army University, established in 2018 in Biu, Borno State, is the other military university that does not offer military training.

O’Level Subject Combination

The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study French; You require;

Five (5) SSCE credit passes, including French and English Language, plus one (1) other Arts subject.

Jamb Subject Combination

In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study French under the Faculty of Arts & Humanities in the above Universities include;

French and any other two (2) subjects from Arts and Social Sciences.

Direct Entry Requirement

These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study French if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;

Two (2) ‘A’ level passes, including French and one (1) other Arts subject.

Jamb Score

All candidates interested in getting admitted into NDA for the 2024/2025 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored 180 or above in your JAMB result.
