UNIMAID Orientation

This is to notify the general public and all aspiring University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) students that the Department of Radiography admission requirements has been published.

The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.

Entry Requirements

O’Level Subject Combination

The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Radiography include Five SSCE credit passes in the following subjects:

English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.

JAMB UTME Subject Combination

Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB.

  • English Language
  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Biology

Direct Entry Requirement

These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Radiography if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;

Two ‘A’ level passes chosen from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Special Consideration (Waiver) Remarks

UNIMAID accepts DIR/DCR registered with the Radiographers Board of Nigeria, plus the UTME requirements.

JAMB Score

All candidates interested in getting admitted into UNIMAID for the 2024/2025 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have a minimum of 160 or above score in your JAMB result.
