    NYSC 2026 Batch ‘B’ Orientation Course to Commence on December 3

    This is to notify the general public and all prospective Corps members that the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Management has set a date for the start of the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream IB Orientation Course.

    The Scheme’s management has planned the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream IB Orientation course to begin on Thursday, December 3, 2026, Nationwide.

    The NYSC 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream IB Orientation Course will begin in the following NYSC Orientation Camps:

    • Commencement/Registration – 3rd December 2026.
    • The cut-off date for Registration – 12 Midnight, 4th December 2026.
    • Swearing-In Ceremony – 5 December 2026.
    • Closing Ceremony: 22nd December 2026.

    Before registering, all Prospective Corps Members must take the Covid-19 test at the camp.

    Prospective Corps members must complete a self-reprinting form for the Covid-19 Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT) and print a verification slip to be submitted in camp for the Covid-19 test.

    All prospective Corps Members who have been assigned to the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream IB Orientation Course are urged to report to their respective camps as specified on their Call-up Letters.

    International Passports and original copies of all submitted documents are required for foreign-trained graduates to report to the camp.

    Prospective Corps Members of Mono/Polytechnic would be required to produce a National Diploma (ND) Certificate in addition to other appropriate documentation as a pre-requisite for enrollment at the Orientation Camps countrywide.

    Prospective Corps Members are strongly urged not to bring any forged documents to the Orientation Camp. Management has put in place appropriate apparatus to crack down on anyone caught and prosecute them.

    In the event of a Call-up Letter being lost, the prospective Corps Member who received the Call-up Letter from his/her institution is encouraged to get a Police Report and a Sworn Affidavit before reporting to the institution of graduation for further action.

    Those who initially printed their Call-up Letters on-line can reprint them in the event of a loss.

    Anyone who fails to report for Service Corps service as directed in the Call-up Letter and/or refuses to make himself available for Service Corps service will be prosecuted in accordance with the provisions of Section 13 sub-section 1(a) and (b) of the NYSC Act, Cap. N84, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.

    Furthermore, any person who is not eligible to participate in the Service Corps or who has not been issued a Certificate of National Service or a Certificate of Exemption but participates or attempts to participate will be prosecuted in accordance with Section 13 sub-section 2(a) and (b) of the NYSC Act, Cap. N84, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.
