This is an update for postgraduate students of Rivers State University on the status of the postgraduate academic calendar for the 2026/2027 session.
As of this update, the College of Postgraduate Studies at RSU has not released a postgraduate academic calendar for 2026/2027. The university’s own postgraduate school pages still reference the 2025/2026 admission cycle, and no 2026/2027 calendar document is posted yet.
Postgraduate calendars at RSU usually follow the undergraduate session but with separate resumption and registration windows for PGD, Master’s, MPhil, and PhD candidates. Once the 2026/2027 postgraduate calendar is approved, it is typically published as a PDF through the Post-Graduate School office and the main RSU website.
If you need the most recent confirmed dates in the meantime, the RSU Resumption Date page and the Post-Graduate School’s own handbook are the most reliable places to check, alongside the university’s official portal.
