The academic calendar for the 2026/2027 academic session is now partly available for students of Taraba State University (TASU), directly from the university’s own Plan Ahead calendar page.
One important note before the dates: TASU’s own calendar page carries this disclaimer in its own words: “some dates below are provisional placeholders and have not yet been confirmed by the Registry,” and it tells students to “confirm critical deadlines with your department before making plans.” We are showing you exactly what the university has published, with that same caveat attached, rather than presenting these as locked-in final dates.
TASU 2025/2026 Academic Calendar
First Semester
| Activity | Date |
| Resumption for returning students | 6 October 2025 |
| First semester registration | 6 – 17 October 2025 |
| Matriculation ceremony | 15 November 2025 |
| Mid-semester break | 24 – 28 November 2025 |
| First semester examinations | 12 – 30 January 2026 |
Second Semester
| Activity | Date |
| Second semester resumption | 16 February 2026 |
| Second semester registration | 16 – 27 February 2026 |
| Mid-semester break | 6 – 10 April 2026 |
| Second semester examinations | 8 – 26 June 2026 |
| Convocation ceremony | 24 July 2026 |
Every one of these dates checks out as mathematically consistent with the calendar, but since TASU itself is flagging them as placeholders, treat this as the shape of the session rather than a locked schedule. Check tsuniversity.edu.ng/academic-calendar directly before relying on any single date, especially the examination windows.
