The admission requirements consist of O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.
UI Department Of Botany Admission Requirements
O’level Subject Combinations
Candidates who wish to study Botany at the University Of Ibadan (UI) must possess Five ‘O’ level subjects at one sitting or 6 ‘O’ level subjects in 2 sittings, including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and any one or two of Physics, Geography and Agriculture Science.
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB.
English Language, Biology, Chemistry, and any other Science subject. Mathematics / Physics.
