This is to inform the general public that the University Of Ibadan (UI) management has published the admission requirements for her Department of Linguistics & African Languages For her admission aspirants.

The admission requirements consist of O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.
UI Department Of Linguistics & African Languages Admission Requirements
O’level Subject Combinations
Candidates who wish to study Linguistics & African Languages at the University Of Ibadan (UI) must possess Five ‘O’ level subjects at one sitting or 6 ‘O’ level subjects in two sittings, including the English Language, two Arts subjects, and any other subjects from Arts, Social Sciences or Science.
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB.
English Language, Literature In English, and the other two from Arts, Social Sciences, or Science.
UI JAMB Cut-Off Mark
Generally, For any candidate to be admitted into the University Of Ibadan (UI) for any course at all, the candidate must score 200 and above in jamb. That is to say that the University Of Ibadan (UI) JAMB Cut-Off mark is 200.
