UMYU Part-Time Degree Admission Form for 2024/2025 Session

Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU), Katsina, has begun the sales of admission application forms for its School of Continuing Education Part-time Degree Programmes for the 2024/2025 academic session.

This initiative allows individuals to advance their education while balancing work, family, and other commitments.

Commencement and Closure of Application Sales


The sale of application forms began on the 20th of June, 2024 and will run till the 21st of August, 2024, giving interested applicants two months to complete the application process.

Method of Application


All prospective candidates can purchase the application form for a sum of ₦4,000.00 (Four thousand Naira only) via the University’s Application Portal. The procedure is convenient and seamless and can be done from any location.

Duration of the Programmes


Depending on the entry point, the duration of the programmes varies:

  • Candidates admitted through UTME: Minimum of 12 and maximum of 18 Contacts (at three contacts per academic session)
  • Candidates admitted through DE: Minimum of 9 and a maximum of 15 Contacts (at three contacts per academic session)
  • Each Academic Session is scheduled to run for 18 Months.

Direct Entry Candidates


Candidates with the National Certificate of Education (NCE) with a minimum of nine (9) points or a diploma with at least a Lower Credit pass or its equivalent in relevant certificates obtained from recognized institutions qualify for Direct Entry into Level 200.
