Admission Requirements
Requirements vary by course, but generally you’ll need English Language, Mathematics, and subject-specific O-Level credits relevant to your chosen programme. A sample of specific subject combinations:
- BSc.Ed Biology: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and any other science subject
- BSc.Ed. Chemistry: English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and any other science subject
- BSc.Ed. Economics: English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and two other social science subjects
- BSc.Ed. Mathematics/Physics: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and two other science subjects
- BA.Ed./BA Arabic, English, Hausa, History, Islamic Studies: English Language, Mathematics, plus the relevant subject and other Arts/Social Science subjects
- B.Sc. Accounting, Economics, Sociology, Political Science, Public Administration: English Language, Mathematics, Economics or Government/History, and other relevant social science subjects
- BLIS. Library and Information Science: English Language, Mathematics, and any three other subjects

Direct Entry Candidates
Candidates with an NCE at a minimum of nine points, or a diploma with at least a lower credit (or an equivalent certificate from a recognized institution), qualify for Direct Entry into Level 200. All applications go through a selection process.
