This is to inform the general public and students of the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) that the school’s management has released the academic calendar for 2024/2025 academic session.

Students are to view the academic calendar to know how the school will run academic activities.

First Semester

• Monday, October 31st, 2022 – Student Course Registration online begins
• Monday, November 14, 2022: Academic Staff exploring virtual classroom start teaching
• Monday, November 21st, 2022: Physical Classes Begin
• Friday, November 25th, 2022 – STUDENT Course REGISTRATION ENDS
• Tuesday, December 6th, 2022 – UNDERGRADUATE MATRICULATION DAY/CEREMONY
• Thursday – Friday December 29th – 30th, 2022 – Mid-Semester Break
• Monday, January 3rd, 2023: Classes resume from Mid-Semester Break
• Friday, February 24th, 2023: Classes End
• Monday February 27th to Saturday March 11th, 2023: First Semester Final Examinations
• Sunday, March 12th, 2023: First Semester 2022/23 Break Begins
• Friday, March 17th, 2023: Final Grades Upload and Submission to HOD by 12noon
• Tuesday, March 21st, 2023: Faculty Boards’ Meeting to Approve Grades by 4.00 pm
• Thursday, March 23rd, 2023: SBC Meeting on Grades by 10 am
• Friday, March 24th, 2023: Senate meeting to Approve Grades by 10.00 am
• Saturday, March 25th, 2023: Electronic Release of Final GRADES to students by 12noon

Second Semester

• Monday, April 17th, 2022: Classes Begin, Electronic and Physical
• Thursday – Friday June 15th to 16th 2023: Mid-Semester Break
• Monday, June 19th, 2023: Classes Resume from Mid-Semester Break
• Friday, July 28th, 2022: Classes End
• Monday July 31st to Saturday August 12th, 2023: Second Semester Final Examinations
• Sunday, August 13th, 2023: Second Semester 2022/23 Break Begins
• Saturday, August 26th, 2023: Final Grades Upload and Submission to HOD by 12noon
• Monday, August 28th, 2023: Faculty Boards’ Meeting to Approve Grades by 2.00 pm
