UNIABUJA Department of Christian Religious Studies Admission Requirement 2024/2025

This article is designed to help students who wish to study Christian Religious Studies Faculty of  Arts and Humanities at the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA).


It is very important for all candidates who wish to apply for any of the courses offered in UNIABUJA  to carefully confirm and see if the course they Selected is offered in the institution before registering for JAMB.

The University of Abuja is a tertiary institution in the Nigerian capital Abuja. It was established on January 1, 1988 (under Decree No. 110 of 1992 as amended) as a dual-mode university with the mandate to run conventional and distance learning programs. Academic work began at the University in 1990 with the matriculation of its pioneer students.

O’Level Subject Combination

The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Christian Religious Studies (CRS); You require;

Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, CRS, and three (3) other relevant subjects.

Jamb Subject Combination

In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Christian Religious Studies (CRS) under the Faculty of Arts & Humanities in the above Universities include;

Two (2) Arts subjects, including CRS and any other subject.

DIirect Entry Requirements

These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Christian Religious Studies (CRS) if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;

Two (2) ‘A’ level passes/NCE to include CRS/Religious Studies.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks:

  • UNIABUJA accepts a minimum of ten (10) points in NCE merit or ND upper credit in addition to the UTME requirements.

Jamb Score

All candidates interested in getting admitted into UNIABUJA  for the 2024/2025 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored 180 or above in your JAMB result.
