UNIABUJA Department of Drama/Dramatic/Performing Arts Admission Requirement 2024/2025

This is to inform the general public and all prospective University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) students that the Department of Drama/Dramatic/Performing Arts Admission requirements has been published.

The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.

Entry Requirements

O’Level Subject Combination

The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Drama / Dramatic / Performing Arts include the following:

• Five (5) SSCE credit passes to include English Language and Arts subjects.

Special Consideration (Waiver) Remarks

• UNIABUJA requires five (5) credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Literature in English, and any other two (2) subjects.

JAMB UTME Subject Combination

Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB

• English Language
• Literature in English and two (2) other relevant subjects

Direct Entry Requirement

These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Drama / Dramatic / Performing Arts if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;

• Two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Arts, Social Sciences, or Science subjects.

Special Consideration (Waiver) Remarks

• UNIABUJA accepts a) a minimum of ten (10) points in NCE or NDupper credit in addition to the UTME requirements OR two (2) ‘A’ level passes, including Literature in English and one (1) other Arts subject.
• NCE merit or ND upper credit in Theatre Arts with four (4) ‘O’ level credit passes.

JAMB Score

All candidates interested in getting admitted into UNIABUJA  for the 2024/2025 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored 180 or above in your JAMB result.
