The University of Abuja has extended its school fees payment and course registration deadline for the 2026/2027 academic session, giving students additional time to complete requirements they missed the first time around.

University management approved the extension after many students had not yet paid fees or registered courses by the original deadline, which had already passed by the time the extension was announced. The extension covers both processes together, fee payment and course registration, rather than either one on its own.
UNIABUJA Registration Deadline
University of Abuja fees payment and course registration had already come to an end some months ago, leaving many students without a valid way to settle their fees or register courses. To address this, management has approved a 42-day extension so affected students can still meet up.
The 42-day extension started counting from May 20, 2026, and fee payment plus course registration completed within this window will proceed without penalty.
The university Vice-Chancellor has expressed hope that all students who have not registered will use this last opportunity to become full-time students for the 2026/2027 academic session. This extension applies only to students who missed the original deadline; those who already paid fees and registered do not need to take any further action.
Management has stressed that this is the final opportunity without any penalty, and interested students are advised to use this window to register rather than risk missing both deadlines a second time.

Confirm your outstanding fee balance and course registration status as early as possible within the window, since the Vice-Chancellor has stressed that this is the final opportunity to register without penalty for the 2026/2027 session.
