Four Named Subjects and a Fifth Credit for UNICAL Law
The O’Level section asks for five SSCE credit passes but names only four subjects. English Language, Literature in English, Government or History, and CRK.
The fifth credit is not specified on this page, so confirm with the faculty what it expects there rather than assuming any subject will do.
The JAMB combination is unambiguous and names exactly the same four subjects, which means your UTME papers and your core O’Level credits line up perfectly.
Direct Entry takes two A level passes in Arts or Social Science subjects, or an NCE, an ND, or a first degree at second class lower division.
That degree route is worth noting, since it gives graduates of other disciplines a recognised path into Law here. The UNICAL JAMB threshold is 150 and above.
