Education and Integrated Science is offered at the University of Lagos (UNILAG). This page sets out the O’Level credits, the JAMB subject combination, three Direct Entry routes and the JAMB score.
UNILAG is a federal government research university in Lagos State, in south western Nigeria. It remains among the most competitive institutions in the country for admissions, and holds one of the largest student populations of any Nigerian university.
This is a teaching degree with a science base, so Biology and Chemistry are compulsory O’Level credits and the UTME papers are drawn entirely from the sciences.
The Direct Entry section is the broadest part of the page, accepting two different NCE qualifications as well as the A level route.

Three Ways Into UNILAG Education and Integrated Science
The O’Level requirement is five SSC credit passes including Biology, Chemistry, English Language and Mathematics, which leaves one place open.
The JAMB combination makes English Language compulsory and takes any three of Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Agricultural Science.
Agricultural Science on that list is worth noting, because it does not appear among the named O’Level credits. It can fill a UTME slot but will not replace Biology or Chemistry.
Direct Entry offers three routes. An NCE in Integrated Science, an NCE in Science Education, or A level passes in two Science subjects.
The two NCE routes make this an accessible department for serving and trainee teachers. The JAMB score for any UNILAG department is 200 and above.
