Education and Yoruba is offered at the University of Lagos (UNILAG). This page sets out the O’Level credits, the UTME subject combination and the JAMB score the university applies across its departments.

UNILAG is a federal government research university in Lagos State, in south western Nigeria. It remains among the most competitive institutions in the country for admissions, and holds one of the largest student populations of any Nigerian university.
Yoruba is the subject that defines this degree. It is one of only two named O’Level credits and it is a required UTME paper, with no alternative offered in either place.
Around that the requirements are light. Three of your five O’Level credits are unspecified, and the remaining UTME papers are drawn from a list of eight subjects.

Yoruba Is the One Subject UNILAG Will Not Substitute Here
The O’Level requirement is five SSC credit passes, of which only English Language and Yoruba are named. The other three are left entirely to the candidate.
That is a genuinely light requirement by UNILAG standards, and it means a candidate with a mixed set of arts credits is not disadvantaged.
The UTME combination asks for English Language, Yoruba, and two more papers from History, Literature in English, French, Christian Religious Studies, Islamic Studies, Arabic, Geography and Physics.
Physics on that list is the unexpected entry. It sits among seven arts and humanities subjects, so a science candidate with Yoruba can still assemble a valid combination.
The JAMB score for any UNILAG department is 200 and above. With the subject rules this open, that score is where the competition for places actually happens.
