UNILAG is a federal government research university in Lagos State, in south western Nigeria. It remains among the most competitive institutions in the country for admissions, and holds one of the largest student populations of any Nigerian university.
Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry are the three subjects every route here assumes. They are named O’Level credits, they are three of the four JAMB papers, and they are the only A level subjects listed for Direct Entry.
The single open place is the fifth O’Level credit, which may be any other Science subject. Everything else on this page is fixed.

The JAMB combination repeats those four named subjects exactly, so there is nothing additional to study for the UTME beyond what the credits already demand.
Direct Entry is the shortest section on the page. Two A level passes in Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry, with no diploma or NCE alternative offered for this department.
That matters for polytechnic graduates. Unlike Mechanical Engineering at the same university, this page lists no ND or HND route, so the A level path is the only alternative to UTME.
The JAMB score for any UNILAG department is 200 and above. Confirm your Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry credits before you register, since none of them can be substituted.
