UTME Requirement For Igbo

- Five (5) SSC credit passes to include Igbo, English Language, and any other Arts subject.

JAMB Subject Combination For Igbo
Below is the UTME/JAMB SUBJECT COMBINATION for IGBO in the faculty of Arts and Humanities.
- English Language(*), Igbo, and two (2) subjects from Arts and Social Sciences.

For any candidate to be admitted to any Department in the University of Lagos, the Candidate must score 200 and above in JAMB.
One Set of Requirements Covers Igbo and Its Sister Programmes
The O’Level requirement is five SSC credit passes to include Igbo, English Language and any other Arts subject. Three papers are effectively named and the remaining two are open.
The UTME combination keeps English Language compulsory, fixes Igbo, and allows two further subjects from the Arts or Social Sciences. That widens the field slightly compared with the O’Level line.
Direct Entry offers two routes. Two ‘A’ level passes in Igbo and one Arts or Social Sciences subject will do, and so will an NCE in Igbo with one Arts subject.
Each section notes that the same requirement covers Linguistics and African Languages, Igbo and Linguistics, African and Asian Studies, Linguistics, and Igbo with other African languages. The JAMB score condition is 200 and above.
