The UNIUYO admission list is out for 2026/2027 academic session applicants. If you apply to study at the University of Uyo, you must check if your name has been shortlisted for admission.
This release is the merit list, which covers candidates admitted on the strength of their scores rather than through any supplementary route later in the session.
Two checking routes are available, one on the university eportal and one through JAMB CAPS, and both work from your JAMB registration number.
How to Check UNIUYO Admission List
- Visit https://uniuyo.edu.ng/eportals.
- Choose the Admission Status Link.
- Put in your JAMB registration number and press the status check button.
- You’ll get a response whether you’ve been admitted or not.
- Print out the Admission Status Notice.
We kindly ask that you take note of the following:
- This offer is only applicable if it is determined after reviewing your credentials at the time of enrollment that you meet the University’s basic admission standards.
- You must submit to a medical examination before registering, which will be done by the University of Uyo’s Health Centre.

Settling Your UNIUYO Merit Admission
At this point, we assume you have gotten all the information on the UNIUYO admission list and how to check your admission status.
Two conditions attach to the offer and both are easy to overlook. Your credentials are reviewed again at enrolment, and the University Health Centre must complete a medical examination before you can register.
Print the admission status notice as soon as it appears, since it is the document the university works from during clearance and portals are not always reachable later.
Candidates not on the merit list should keep checking, as universities commonly publish supplementary releases once the first round of acceptances has settled.
