The University of Nigeria, Nsukka, has released its applications for properly qualified applicants who are seeking admission to the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) Programme for the 2025/2026 academic year.
The curriculum culminates in the award of a JUPEB certificate, which allows students to secure Direct Entry Admissions into their respective second-year degree programs at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and other JUPEB-affiliated universities in Nigeria and overseas.
UNN JUPEB Admission Eligibility & Duration
Eligibility
Eligible candidates must have a minimum of 5 Credits with a maximum of two sittings in at least 5 subjects (inclusive of English Language) that is relevant to the candidate’s choice of course in the University.
Duration
The programme is to last for a minimum of one academic session, which has two semesters.

How to Apply for UNN JUPEB Admission Form
Pay the application fee of N20,000.00 through the Remita payment platform at any bank.
You are to generate a payment invoice that contains a remita number; the invoice printout will enable you to make your payment at the bank. (Please note that Bank charges apply and must be paid)
- Visit unnportal.unn.edu.ng/
- Click on Generate Payment Invoice under JUPEB
- Type in your mobile phone number and click on ‘submit’
- Type in your Surname, First name, and Middle name, and click on submit
- Print out your invoice and proceed to the bank
- After making all necessary payments at the bank, visit the portal @ unnportal.unn.edu.ng/
- Click on fill Joint Universities Preliminary Admissions Board programme
- Enter your Remita # and click on submit
- Fill out the form and attach your passport
- A colored passport photograph that has a white background.
- The passport photograph must be recent (3 months maximum) the size should not be more than 100KB.
- Complete the form and click on submit
- Print out your acknowledgement slip:
