This is to inform the general public and all Adeyemi College Of Education, Ondo (ACEONDO) aspirants that the Department of Computer Education/Physics admission requirements have been published.
The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.
The two lists for this department are almost identical. English Language, Mathematics and Physics are named on both, with science subjects filling what remains.
Computer Studies is not named anywhere in the requirements despite appearing in the course title. The department works instead from a general science profile.
Entry Requirements
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Computer Education/Physics include the following: Five (5) SSCE credit passes in the following subjects:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Physics and any two Science subjects
Three subjects are fixed and two further science credits complete the five. Chemistry, Biology and Agricultural Science are the usual choices.
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Physics and any other Science subject
The same three subjects carry over, with one science paper rather than two completing the registration. A candidate therefore writes four papers in total.
