This is to inform the general public and all Adeyemi College of Education (ACEONDO) aspirants that the Department of Computer Science Education & Mathematics admission requirements have been published.
The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.
Mathematics and English Language are the two constants in this department, appearing on both lists. Beyond them the requirement is filled out with science subjects of the candidate’s own choosing.
Physics is named only at Ordinary Level. In JAMB it becomes one of the science options rather than a compulsory paper, which gives candidates more room there.
Entry Requirements
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Computer Science Education & Mathematics include the following: Five (5) SSCE credit passes in the following subjects:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Physics and any two Science subjects
Three subjects are settled and two further science credits complete the five. Chemistry, Biology and Agricultural Science are the usual choices for those places.
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB
- English Language
- Mathematics and any two other Science subjects
Read in full that is English Language, Mathematics and two science papers, which makes four in total. No specific science subject is named.
