ACEONDO Department of Education & History Admission Requirement 2024/2025

This is to inform the general public and all Adeyemi College of Education (ACEONDO) aspirants that the Department of Education & History admission requirements have been published.

The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.

Entry Requirements

O’Level Subject Combination

The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Education & History include the following: Five (5) SSCE credit passes in the following subjects:

  • English Language
  • History and three (3) relevant Arts subjects

JAMB UTME Subject Combination

Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB

  • English Language
  • History and any other two (2) subjects from below:
  • Christian Religious Studies/Islamic Studies
  • Literature in English
  • French
  • Yoruba
  • Geography/Physics
  • Economics
  • Government
  • Hausa

Direct Entry Requirement

These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Education and History if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require:

  • Two (2) NCE merit/’A’ Level passes in History and one (1) other relevant Arts subject

JAMB Score

All candidates interested in getting admitted to the  Adeyemi College Of Education for the 2024/2025 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored 120 or above in your JAMB result.

ACEONDO, also known as Adeyemi College of Education, is a Federal College in Ondo State, Nigeria’s southwest. The Nigerian federal government manages the college.

The College was founded in 1964 and named after a Nigerian educator. It is affiliated with the prestigious OAU in Ile-Ife.
