A Social Science Credit Allowed at ADSU Biology
The fifth O’level credit for this course can be a Science or a Social Science subject. That is a wider allowance than most science departments give, and it sits beside four fixed subjects.
Those four are Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science, Mathematics and Physics. Agricultural Science is accepted in place of Biology at both O’level and UTME.
At JAMB the combination is Chemistry, Biology or Agriculture, and Mathematics or Physics, with English Language compulsory on top. Note that English is named as compulsory for UTME rather than in the O’level list above.
Direct Entry adds Economics as a third option behind Biology or Agricultural Science and Chemistry. UTME candidates need a minimum of 180 and above in their JAMB result for the 2026/2027 session.
