Marketing is taught under the Faculty of Social & Management Sciences at Adamawa State University. Economics is required on every route, and Mathematics on the first two.
The conditions get shorter as the process goes on. Five credits at O’Level, four papers at UTME, and just two advanced level passes at Direct Entry with only one of them named.
Confirm that Marketing appears on the current ADSU course list and that your JAMB registration records it correctly before you sit the examination.

The Requirements Narrow Stage by Stage at ADSU Marketing
The O’Level requirement is five SSCE credits in Mathematics, Economics, English Language and two other relevant subjects. Relevance is not defined, leaving those two to the candidate.
The UTME combination keeps English Language compulsory, names Mathematics and Economics, and asks for any other social science subject in the last place.
Direct Entry is the shortest condition on the page. Two ‘A’ Level or NCE passes are required and only one of them, Economics, is specified.
Mathematics disappearing at that level is the one real difference between the routes. A candidate weak in it has a clearer path through Direct Entry than through UTME.
A JAMB score of 180 and above is the screening threshold for the 2026/2027 session at ADSU and applies whichever route a candidate uses.
