ADSU Department of Primary Education Studies Admission Requirement

It is very important for all candidates who wish to apply for any of the courses offered in ADSU to carefully confirm and see if the course they Selected is offered in the institution before registering for JAMB.

Adamawa State University is located in Mubi, Adamawa State, Nigeria.

It was established in 2002 by the Adamawa State University Law No. 10 of 2001. The title caption of the university is “Towards ensuring rapid development and transformation of the State.

Admission Requirements for Primary Education Studies

WAEC/NECO Subject Combination

The WAEC/NECO subject combination and requirements needed to study Primary Education Studies is Five (5) SSCE credits in Mathematics, English Language, and three other Art/Social Science/Science Subjects.

JAMB Subject Combination

In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course.

Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Primary Education Studies under the Faculty of Education at ADSU include;

Any three Art/Social Science/Science subjects.

Direct Entry Requirement

These are the conditions you need to fulfil to gain Direct Entry admission to study Primary Education Studies if you don’t intend to use UTME.

You require;

Two (2) ‘A’ Level/NCE passes in relevant Art/Social Science/Science subjects.

JAMB Score

All candidates interested in getting admitted into ADSU for the 2024/2025 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored a minimum of 180 and above in your JAMB result.
