Admission Requirements for Pure and Applied Physics
WAEC/NECO Subject Combination
The WAEC/NECO subject combination and requirements needed to study Pure and Applied Physics is Five (5) SSCE credits in Mathematics, Chemistry, English Language, Physics, Biology, or Agricultural Science.
JAMB Subject Combination
In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course.
Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Pure and Applied Physics under the Faculty of Science at ADSU include;
Physics, Mathematics, and either Biology or Chemistry.
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfil to gain Direct Entry admission to study Pure and Applied Physics if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;
Two (2) ‘A’ Level/NCE passes, including Physics and one (1) another Science subject.
JAMB Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted into ADSU for the 2024/2025 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored a minimum of 180 and above in your JAMB result.
