Political Science Education is taught under the Faculty of Education at The Federal University, Kashere (FUKASHERE). Government or History is required on every route into the programme.
Direct Entry introduces Physics as an alternative to Geography, which is unexpected on a social science teaching course and appears nowhere else on the page.

Confirm that Political Science Education appears on the current FUKASHERE course list and that your JAMB registration records it correctly before you sit the examination.

Physics Appears Only at Direct Entry for FUKASHERE Political Science Education
The O’Level requirement is five credit passes or equivalent to include English Language, Government or History, and three other subjects. Those three carry no field restriction.
The UTME combination tightens slightly. English Language is compulsory, Government or History is fixed, and the two remaining papers must come from the Arts or Social Sciences.
Direct Entry sets out two options. Two advanced level passes may be chosen from Government or History, Economics, and Geography or Physics.
The alternative is an NCE at merit in Government or History, Economics, and Geography or Physics. Physics sitting in that list is the one surprise in the whole requirement.
A JAMB score of 180 and above is the screening threshold for the 2026/2027 session at FUKASHERE and applies whichever route a candidate uses.
