WAEC/NECO Subject Combination
The WAEC/NECO subject combination and requirements needed to study Home Science and Management are Five (5) SSCE credits in Chemistry, Biology or Agric Science, Mathematics and at least a pass in English, Physics, General Metal Work, General Wood Work, Building/Engineering Drawing, Furniture Design and Construction.
JAMB Subject Combination
In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course.
Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Home Science and Management at FUGASHUA include Chemistry, Biology or Agriculture and Mathematics or Physics.
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfil to gain Direct Entry admission to study Home Science and Management if you do not intend to use UTME.
You require two (2) ‘A’ Level/NCE passes in Chemistry and Biology, Botany, Agric Science, Economics, Physics, Mathematics, Geography, or Accounting.

The O’Level requirement names Chemistry, Biology or Agric Science and Mathematics at credit level, with at least a pass required in English, Physics and a set of technical subjects.
Those technical subjects are General Metal Work, General Wood Work, Building or Engineering Drawing, and Furniture Design and Construction. They are accepted at pass level rather than credit.
The UTME combination is conventional by comparison, naming Chemistry, Biology or Agriculture, and Mathematics or Physics alongside the compulsory English Language.
