COURSES / DEPARTMENTS IN FUGASHUA

How to Use the FUGASHUA Course List

The arts and humanities are represented by Arabic Studies, English Language, History and International Studies, and Islamic Studies. Between them the four fields give FUGASHUA a conventional federal university spread.

Two of the listed departments pair Economics with a second discipline. Economics and Development Studies and Economics and Statistics are separate entries, so a candidate should be careful to select the right one at registration.

Each linked page sets out the subject requirements for that department individually. The lists differ from course to course, so checking the specific page matters more than assuming a faculty wide standard.

A JAMB registration names one course only, so the choice made here is the one the university screens against. Reading the relevant department page before registering is the simplest way to avoid a mismatch.

Candidates should confirm that their intended course still appears on this list before registering for JAMB. Selecting a course that the university does not run, or naming the wrong variant, cannot be corrected at the screening stage.

The linked pages also set out the Direct Entry conditions where a department publishes them. Candidates holding an NCE, an ND or advanced level passes should look for that section rather than assume the UTME route is the only way in.
