This article is designed to help students who wish to study Arabic Studies under the Faculty of Art & Humanities at The Federal University, Kashere.

It is very important for all candidates who wish to apply for any of the courses offered in FUKASHERE to carefully confirm and see if the course they Selected is offered in the institution before registering for JAMB.

About Federal University, Kashere

FUKASHERE is located in Kashere, a town in Gombe State in Northeastern Nigeria.

It has no religious affiliations, and students from across the country are welcome to apply. FUKAHSERE offers courses in the following discipline; Education, Science, Agriculture and Social Sciences.

It was established by the deferral Government to function as a University in 2011.

Admission Requirements for Arabic Studies

WAEC/NECO Subject Combination

The WAEC/NECO subject combination and requirements needed to study Arabic Studies is Five (5) SSCE credits in Mathematics, English Language, Arabics, and any other social science/art subject.

JAMB Subject Combination

In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course.

Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Arabic Studies under the Faculty of Art & Humanities at FUKASHERE include;

Arabics and two other Social science/Art subjects.

Direct Entry Requirement

These are the conditions you need to fulfil to gain Direct Entry admission to study Arabic Studies if you don’t intend to use UTME.

You require;

Two ‘A’ level passes in Arabic and any other art subject.

JAMB Score

All candidates interested in getting admitted into MAUTECH for the 2024/2025 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored a minimum of 180 and above in your JAMB result.
