Biology is taught under the Faculty of Science at The Federal University, Kashere. Biology itself is required at every stage, and Chemistry joins it only in the UTME combination.
Mathematics is compulsory at O’Level but is not named again afterwards. That shift between stages is the one detail that catches candidates out on this page.
Confirm that Biology appears on the current FUKASHERE course list and that your JAMB registration records it correctly before you sit the examination.

Chemistry Appears Only at UTME for FUKASHERE Biology
The O’Level requirement is five SSCE credits in Mathematics, English Language, Biology and any other science subject. Chemistry is not named, so a candidate could complete the set with Physics instead.
The UTME combination then adds Chemistry outright. English Language is compulsory, Biology and Chemistry are fixed, and the third paper may be any other science subject.
A candidate who skipped Chemistry at secondary school would therefore satisfy the O’Level line but face it at UTME. The two stages need to be planned together.
Direct Entry drops Chemistry again, asking only for two ‘A’ level passes in Biology and any other science subject.
A JAMB score of 180 and above is the screening threshold for the 2026/2027 session at FUKASHERE and applies before any subject condition is examined.
