Christian Religious Knowledge is taught under the Faculty of Art & Humanities at The Federal University, Kashere. The CRK paper runs through all three entry routes, with a slight widening at Direct Entry.
Mathematics is the other compulsory credit, which some candidates from an arts background overlook. It is named at O’Level even though it plays no part in the UTME combination.
Confirm that Christian Religious Knowledge appears on the current FUKASHERE course list and that your JAMB registration records it correctly before you sit the examination.

Mathematics Still Counts for FUKASHERE Christian Religious Knowledge
The O’Level requirement is five SSCE credits in Mathematics, English Language, Christian Religious Knowledge and any other social science or arts subject. Three papers are named outright.
Mathematics being among them matters. A candidate who concentrated entirely on arts subjects at secondary school will fall short of the requirement whatever their CRK result.
The UTME combination drops Mathematics. English Language is compulsory, Christian Religious Knowledge is fixed, and the remaining two papers may be any social science or arts subjects.
Direct Entry widens the religious paper itself, accepting two ‘A’ level passes or an NCE that include Christian Religious Studies or Religious Studies. The broader Religious Studies title is recognised only here.
A JAMB score of 180 and above is the screening threshold for the 2026/2027 session at FUKASHERE and applies to every route described above.
