Economics at The Federal University, Kashere. is built on two named subjects. Economics and Mathematics appear together at O’Level, in the UTME combination and again at Direct Entry.
The third subject is described only as a social science or arts paper at the first two stages. Direct Entry is the only section that replaces that phrase with an actual list.
Confirm that Economics appears on the current FUKASHERE course list and that your JAMB registration records it correctly before you sit the examination.

The O’Level requirement is five SSCE credits in Mathematics, English Language, Economics and any other social science or arts subject. Three papers are named and the rest are open within that field.
The UTME combination repeats the pattern. English Language is compulsory, Economics and Mathematics are fixed, and the third subject may be any social science or arts paper.
Direct Entry is far more specific and far wider. Economics is required, and the second ‘A’ level pass may come from Mathematics, Statistics, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Agric Science, Accounting, Business Management, History or Government.
Four of those ten subjects are sciences, which the UTME route does not accept at all. Candidates from a science background should look at Direct Entry before dismissing this course.
