Education and Computer Science is taught under the Faculty of Education at The Federal University, Kashere (FUKASHERE). Mathematics is compulsory at O’Level and appears in the UTME pool as well.
Direct Entry names neither Mathematics nor Computer Science, asking instead for Physics or Chemistry. The three routes do not point in the same direction.

WAEC/NECO Subject Combination
The WAEC/NECO subject combination and requirements needed to study Education and Computer Science is Five (5) SSC credit passes or its equivalents, including Mathematics, English Language, and three (3) other Science subjects.
JAMB Subject Combination
In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course.
Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Education and Computer Science under the Faculty of Education at FUKASHERE include;
Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and Geography.
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfil to gain Direct Entry admission to study Education and Computer Science if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;
Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes, including Physics or Chemistry.
JAMB Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted into FUKASHERE for the 2026/2027 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored a minimum of 180 and above in your JAMB result.
Direct Entry Asks for Physics or Chemistry at FUKASHERE Education and Computer Science
The O’Level requirement is five SSC credit passes or equivalents including Mathematics, English Language and three other science subjects.
The UTME subjects are drawn from Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry and Geography, with English Language compulsory alongside them. Geography sits in that pool despite not being a laboratory science.
Direct Entry takes a different line entirely, asking for two ‘A’ Level passes including Physics or Chemistry, with no mention of Mathematics.
A candidate planning to enter at two hundred level should raise that with the department, since Mathematics is otherwise central to the whole requirement.
A JAMB score of 180 and above is the screening threshold for the 2026/2027 session at FUKASHERE and applies whichever route a candidate uses.
