History and Diplomatic Studies is taught under the Faculty of Arts & Humanities at The Federal University, Kashere (FUKASHERE). Geography is named at O’Level and then disappears from the later stages.
Direct Entry here sets an NCE grade threshold of upper credit, which is stricter than the merit level accepted on several other FUKASHERE pages.

Confirm that History and Diplomatic Studies appears on the current FUKASHERE course list and that your JAMB registration records it correctly before you sit the examination.

An Upper Credit NCE Is Needed for FUKASHERE History and Diplomatic Studies
The O’Level requirement is five SSCE credit passes to include English Language, Geography, and Government or History. Three papers are addressed and two credits are left open.
Geography being compulsory at that stage is worth noting. It plays no part in the UTME combination or the Direct Entry condition, so the credit matters only at secondary school level.
The UTME combination keeps English Language compulsory, fixes History or Government, and allows two other papers from the Arts and Social Sciences.
Direct Entry asks for two ‘A’ level passes or an NCE at upper credit in History or Government plus any other related subject. The upper credit bar is higher than merit.
A JAMB score of 180 and above is the screening threshold for the 2026/2027 session at FUKASHERE and applies whichever route a candidate uses.
