About FULOKOJA
The Federal University, Lokoja, popularly known as FULOKOJA, is a federal university in the confluence city of Lokoja, the capital of Kogi State, North-Central Nigeria. Lokoja lies at the confluence of the Niger and Benue rivers.
The Federal University, Lokoja, was established in February 2011 by the Federal Government of Nigeria due to the indispensable need to create more universities in the country.
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Economics;
You require five (5) SSC credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and at least two (2) other relevant subjects from Commerce, Government, and Accounting.

Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Economics if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require ND/NCE with upper/merit credit in the relevant program in addition to five (5) credit passes at SSC at not more than two (2) sittings.
JAMB Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted into FULOKOJA for the 2026/2027 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have a minimum score of 180 and above in your JAMB result.
The ND and NCE Route Into FULOKOJA Economics
Economics and Mathematics are fixed in both the O level and UTME requirements. At O level you need five SSC credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics and two more from Commerce, Government and Accounting.
Your third UTME subject comes from Government, History, Geography, Literature in English, French or CRS/IRS. Direct Entry runs through an ND or NCE at upper credit or merit plus five SSC credits in no more than two sittings, with 180 the JAMB minimum.
