This is to inform the general public and all Federal University of Technology Minna (FUTMINNA) aspirants that the Department of Cyber Security Science Admission requirements has been published.
The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.
Entry Requirements
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Cyber Security Science include the following:
- Five (5) SSCE credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, and Physics, plus two other science subjects
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
- FUTMINNA requires five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes, including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics or Chemistry, and any other Science subject. Cyber Security Science is the same as Computer Science.
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Physics and one subject from the following:
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Agricultural Science
- Economics
- Geography
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfil to gain Direct Entry admission to study Cyber Security Science if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;
- Two A/L passes in science subjects, including Mathematics
- NCE with at least Merit in Mathematics and one other Science or Social Science subject.
