This is to inform the general public that the admission requirements for the Department of Food Technology at the Ibadan Polytechnic (IBADAN POLY) have been published.
The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.
Entry Requirements
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Food Technology include the following:
- Mathematics,
- Chemistry
- Biology/Agricultural Science/Health Science
And any two of the following:
- Physics
- Technical Drawing
- Economics/Commerce
- English Language
- Further Mathematics
- Home Economics
- Food and Nutrition
- Geography
- At least credit passes in Physics and English Language is compulsory
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB
- Biology/Agricultural Science
- English Language and any three subjects below:
- Physics
- Chemistry,
- Mathematics
- Economics
